Details
Da Wu Ye(literally large dark leaf) is a top level cultivar in Feng Huang Dan Cong oolong tea family. This green dan cong is made of Da Wu Ye variety tea bushes.
Green Dan Cong is processed with a new developed dehumidification technique. Different from the traditional baking process, the unique processing method maximum retained the original fresh and crisp flavor of the tea leaf.
It is green and fresh like green tea yet still retained the classical flavor of Da Wu Ye Dan Cong oolong flavor.
This tea has a dramatically combined fragrance of flowers and fruits. You will be amazed by the strong aroma of this tea. So we have to declare that this strong floral fragrance is developed naturally from the tea leaf but not scented!
The tea liquor of this tea is quite clear, in pale greenish yellow color, which is the same as green tea or Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea. This feature is distinct from the classic fired Dan Cong oolong teas, which are the pursuit of the new dehumidification technique.
If you are a fan of Tie Guan Yin oolong tea but would like to try something new or you are just about to try Feng Huang Dan Cong oolong tea, then this Da Wu Ye green dan cong is highly recommended.
