About the Name "Yu Lei Zhu Xiang Ji"
One story is that this tea was first made by a woman named LiaoJuLian.

Mr. Huang helped Liao's family during his hometown visit. So Liao made some tea and bring it to Mr.Huang as a present to show her gratitude.
Liao gets her own formula and method making tea: she picked high grade fresh tea leaves from mountain and wrapped tea with bamboo shoot shell after the process of cooking, fermentation and dried by smoking over a pine fire. Then placed the tea in a ventilated place for further spontaneous fermentation.
This way, the tea becomes ripe, full-bodied, and mild.
HuangZiYuan liked this tea very much and named it “Yu Lei Zhu Xiang Cha”. The name appropriately gave the tea a vivid discription-Packed with shoot shell of "Xiang Fei Zhu"- mottled-bamboo just like the rain drops over the leaf. The tea is also smelled like pure and fresh earth after the rain.
For more than 100 years, the tea-making skill has been handed down from generation to generation in their family.
LiaoJuLian is 106 years old. She belive drinking dark tea everyday is her secret of health and longevity.
Now, her grandchildren are making these tea and attain the reputation in today's dark tea market.
