Meng Ku tea producing area is bounded by the Meng Ku river. Bing Dao(the village) is precisely located in Meng Ku riverside. The raw material of this tea harvest from ancient tea trees in Bing Dao village, which makes it a comprehensive expression of the best Meng Ku tea feature.
The tree ages of the ancient tea trees in Bing Dao area are mostly between 700~800 years. Even the younger ones are about 200~300 years old. So the raw tea material from this area always been cherished by the tea makers.
The Feature
Appearance: The tea leaves are splendid in shape. The surface of the leaves covered with clear nervation, thick as leather.
Fragrance: The dry leaf fragrance is massive, deep and long lasting.
Mouth Feel: The tea liquor is full, rich, yet mellow. Strong and bitter on the first sip, sweet aftertaste. The classic raw pu-erh aroma lingering between the teeth, tongue base and throat.
Infused Leaf: The infused leaves are fully unfolded. Fat, thick with good flexibility.
Tea Liquor: The tea liquor is in bright yellow color, clear and pure.
