Keemun is a historical reputed black tea in China. It was made in year 1875 at Keemun County (Qi-men Xian) at Anhui Province (An-hui Sheng).

The keemun tea leaf is slender and fine, giving the sugary flavor with scent of sweet flowery note, with thick and mellow taste. These distinctive cup characteristics have gained much attention in the international tea profession.

Processing Technique Fully-fermenting Tea, Kill Green(Deactivation)→Rolling→Fermenting→Desiccation(Baking)
Appearance Leaf is thin and slender, tightly rolled, with sharp point and containing buds. If poor quality, the leaf is loose, thick and coarse, without the sharp point and not containing bud. Leaf in dark black color (Wu-run). It looks glossy and luster.
Aroma Dry leaf gives sugar syrup flavor with mild smoky flavor. When brewed, the liquor gives the same aromatic profile.
Liquor Bright red color.
Tasting Notes The keemun tea leaf is slender and fine, giving the sugary flavor with scent of sweet flowery note, with thick and mellow taste.

Steeping Instructions Warm the teapot(cup,glass)→Add tea leaves→Moisturize the leaves with hot water then pour out the liquid immediately→Add hot water and steep for less than 30 secs for the first 4 infusions. Enjoy.
Storage Seal tightly, store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and odour.
