Description
Details
This mini tea cake was made by high-level material made from broad-leaved wild tea trees. Traditional court recipe. The vintage year is 2002, which is over 10 year now.
Place one piece tiny tea cake into a Gaiwan or Zi Sha Pot each time.
Wash it with 100 ºC hot water for 1-2 times. The tea cake will become loose enough for the first steeping.
Steep it for 20 secs for the first cup.
The infusion is thick, smooth, very beautiful orange color pu-erh tea oil on the edge. The smell is really clean. No fishy hint at all. It tastes smooth on the throat, a bit sweet. This is a very typical well stored ripe tea cake.
Steep it 10-20 secs longer each time for the next infusions. I have to say it is not durable compare with other pu-erh tea cake. (6 infusions and the tea soup was fading out) But it is good enough for a mini tea cake, which has been stored for over 10 years.
The following video introduced how to easily steep mini tea-cakes with a Yixing clay teapot.
