"Mi Lan Xiang" literally honey orchid aroma is made from Dan Cong tea bushes that are famous for the "irises and orchids" fragrant with honey sweet taste. This Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong is the most admired Dan Cong variety among the "Flower Aroma" Dan Cong Series.
It has been honored as "Thick honey and Valley Orchids" by Dan Cong lovers.
This MiLanXiang Dan Cong was the early spring tea. The dry leaf lay in dark green color, clean and sturdy. After steeping, the leafs was stretched, light green in color with a red edge. Very beautiful. Prepared with ChaoZhou KongFu tea ceremony, this MiLanXiang DanCong oolong could easily get over 20 flavor rich infusions.
The liquor is in bright yellow color. Honey orchid floral aroma lingering in mouth, refreshing, smooth and sweet.

Steeping Instructions | Warm the teapot(Gaiwan)→Add tea leaves→Moisturize and wash the leaves with hot water then pour out the liquid immediately→Add hot water and steep for 10-20 secs for the first infusions.Gradually extend the steeping time for the next infusions. |

Score I was very impressed about this tea. The medium roasting gave it a wonderful aroma and full-flavor, while floral and fruit notes (definitely apricot as was mentioned, along with a bit of grapefruit citrus) dominated the aftertaste. (Posted on 1/7/2015)
