Ma Hei- literally Rough Dark is one of the most famous tea mountain in Yi Wu tea producing area.
The raw materials harvest from this area is slim, dark in appearance and featured by its soft and mellow taste.

The Feature


Appearance: The tea leaves are slim and very long in shape, dark and shinny in color. The surface of the leaves covered white downy hairs.
Fragrance: The dry leaf fragrance is soft, fruity and long lasting.
Mouth Feel: The tea liquor is mellow and smooth. Quite souple and soft compares with other raw pu-erh tea that harvest from different producing area.
Infused Leaf: The infused leaves are fully unfolded. long, rubber like with good flexibility. light yellowish green color.
Tea Liquor: The tea liquor is bright, light orange in color, clear and pure.

Steeping Instructions Add tea into the teapot or Gaiwan→Quickly wash the tea with hot water for 2 times→Add hot water and steep for 10~20 secs for the first infusions.Gradually extend the steeping time for the next infusions.
