my first loose tea and it's good Review by Aaron S.
Score This is my first loose tea. Previously, I have drunk tea bags, and I have gradually made the transition to starting to drink loose leaf tea. I have been told by many of my friends that they prefer the taste of loose teas and believe that it is the best quality and provides a finest taste. After this experience, I'm even more convinced.
When I opened the pouch, I was a bit attracted by the sight of these tea leaves. They are so fresh, slim and soft. Most of the leaves have a nice bright green color and a few light yellow mixed in.
I brewed the Huangshan Mao Feng for about 2 minutes, at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The first flavor that I tasted was a mild grassy flavor. The second cup, I tasted vegetal flavors with subtle fruit fragrance.
The liquor was bright, pure green to a bit greenish yellow.
Hopefully, I can visit here again and try some other types of loose tea soon. (Posted on 8/23/2013) -
