Lemon grass is widely used as a herb in Asian cuisine. It is often used as a tea in African, Latin-American and Asia countries. Mexicans combine the herb with spearmint or one of the other mints to brew a calming tea as it's believed to help in digestion after a meal and is said to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Lemon grass can be enjoyed during anytime of the day. You can also mix the lemon grass with other teas to create your own favorite blend.Dried lemon grass leaves make a zesty, refreshing drink that is highly satisfying both hot and cold. Just as its name implies, lemon grass easily brews up into a delightful, lemony-flavored tea with hints of ginger. The resulting liquid is very fragrant, rich lemon gold in color, refreshing, and naturally caffeine-free.
