Bu Lang Mountain Ancient Tea Tree-Handmade Pu-erh Tea Ball-Cooked/Ripe

This was the first of the new line of puerh balls I tried, and I really enjoyed it. It was not overly compressed, which I was worried it might be, making it very easy to brew. This tea starts out strong with a very thick woodsy / leathery flavor but quickly mellows out into a balanced and mellow, slightly sweet flavor. Classic shou profile with no wo dui funk despite its age. Surprisingly strong cha qi for a shou. Very full leaves. All things considered, I liked this tea better than some I've from big name factories! Definitely worth a try.
