Naka ancient tea is very famous in the major Menghai tea producing area, which is comparable with Banzhang tea and Nannuo Mountain tea.
Naka tea is featured with relatively small size tea leaves and long-lasting orchid aroma.
Lahu Ethnic's bamboo tube tea, which is made of tea leaves picked from Naka ancient tea trees is widely known since the Qing dynasty.
We specially sourced raw Naka tea material and make it into these tea cakes to recall the ancient Naka tea.
Naka tea is featured with smaller tea leaves that compared with tea from other areas, so we keep tea leaf is in it's original form-1 bud, 2~3 pieces of leaves and the leaf stalk. So you may find the tea stalks are mixed in the tea cake. The tea cakes are not as exquisite as other high level tea cakes. But it well-retained the original flavor of Naka tea. Meanwhile, it is easily to be stored and aged in natural storage condition. You will find this tea turns into a vintage mouth-feel very quick. It will provide a richer and various tasting experience with time.
Since this is a newly processed raw cake, the tea soup tastes refreshing, astringent, bitter at first taste then comes with a sweet after taste. It has a very unique orchid aroma, elegantly fragrant and sweet. This is the most distinctive memory spot of Naka tea.
We highly recommend a short(within 30secs) steeping for the first 5 infusions. Especially for drinkers who are trying raw pu-erh tea for the first time. Try to taste the astringent tea liquor, smell the fresh aroma and feel the sweet aftertaste.
*TIPS* Please prepare some snacks when you drinking raw pu-erh tea. Because it has strong effects of improving digestion and you may get hungry quickly when you drinking this tea.
