An excellent, clean green tea. The initial taste is vegetal but gives way to a slightly bitter finish. (Posted on 1/31/2016)

This tea has a very subtle flavor -- as opposed to a green tea. You could steep it longer to abtain a deeper after taste. (Posted on 1/19/2016)

This is my first time brewing "yellow tea". I might have steeped it a bit too long. I'll try shortening the steeping time next time I drink it. Overall, really good tea. (Posted on 1/13/2015)

For people who are typically turned off by the more bitter taste of fresh green tea, you should try this one! The yellow tea milder, mellower and easy to drink with. (Posted on 1/7/2014)
heavier than green lighter than oolong Review by Major

This tea for me is somewhere between green and oolong.
It is has a green tea appearance(darker, more yellow tone) and the fragrance is stronger than green tea.
I also tried steeping it Kungfu way, it is not durable as oolong.
It is very smooth and mellow, the sweet aftertaste just lingers in my mouth. Very refreshing. (Posted on 10/9/2013)
All I have to say is YUM! Review by Teafairy

I would have to say it reminds me a bit of a Mao Feng green tea but also has some of the same sweetness as a nice dragon well.
The tea has a very mellow , soothing energy with a thickish mouthfeel. The roma is refreshing with notes of chestnuts and sweet corn. (Posted on 8/7/2013)

This "yellow" tea from Esgreen has a vivid sweet (almost nutty) scent and the flavor is a little grassy. Some might find this tea a little bitter than green tea, but I enjoyed the toasty pine nut notes and smooth texture. (Posted on 1/1/2013)
