Tasting cup or appreciation cup,come in size of a half Ping-Pong ball and different shapes, such as a half ball, bamboo rain hat, well shaped, single layered or double-layered etc.
Tasting cups are made of various material such as porcelain, pottery, glass, Yixing purple clay etc.
White porcelain cups or other material come with white glaze inside is considered a better choice for tasting cups. The white background well displayed the original color of the tea liquor.
The small size(capacity) is designed for one or two drink, which is a great way to taste and feel the difference between each infusions.
