Duan clay tea pot, tall, large capacity.

The combination of Ben Shan Lu Ni(green clay) and purple clay is used to produce (Duan Ni)when mixing together. This kind of mud needs very high fire temperature during pot production and it is a very difficult process compare to the production of other pots using different kind of clay.  The color of this clay is generally beige after putting into fire. Its base color is partial white, slightly dull with black and reddish particles in it.

The kettle is covered with classic crab pattern. The rugged pattern is vivid, detailed, primitive and elegant. At first, the intended pattern has to be either printed or drawn on a piece of paper. The paper is then attached on the surface of clay mold and it is pressed with metal rod according to the motif. The handle and lid of this kettle are made of cooper and the lid fitted with silver hollow engraving knob. Representing it's exquisite workmanship.

The interior of this kettle is charcoal fired at 800-1000 degree. To form a layer of high density oxide membrane. This oxide membrane has the effect of anti-oxidation and slow down the rusting process of the iron kettle.

This quick tea set includes a serving pitcher that has a filter function and a tea cup. The tea set is made of pottery, which has been processed with half-glazed firing technics. The handle is hand-carved into dragon. The pot and cup are coated with Imperial Jade glaze. You could enjoy an easy and simple tea time using this tea set.
